How to “Training German Shepherd”

When it comes to training German Shepherd this breed of dogs is similar to other dogs, the breed German shepherd is considered the most loyal dog breeds among all other species. A German shepherd is a brilliant, intelligent, quick learner, athletic, and active dog type. Training German shepherd is not a hard deal.


Start training German shepherd at the age of eight weeks
The German shepherd is a strong and loyal dog, and all the dogs of this breed are easy to train if you are stating with a puppy, you can mold his personality and can develop a relationship between you and your dog

If you get an older German shepherd, still you have a chance. The German shepherd is easy to train.

This breed is very protective. You can socialize your puppy in his puppyhood. This will help them build a relation between people and other animals, which is very important 


Start with basics training. 
When you get an older German and do not know simple commands, start with the basics commands like sit, come and heel.

You have to build trust between you and your dog. It is an important step to take, give your dog time to keep training him in sessions, give him a break and also give him something to eat between breaks 


Motivate your dog with food or toys.
Dogs love food to motivate them with a portion of food, and also German shepherds respond well to the toys. Please give them a toy as a reward or anything that they like. This will help you create good relationships and help them know they are performing well. 

Rewarding your German shepherd is vital while training him. Rewards can be of any type either you can give them a toy or give them a treat. These dogs love rewards and highly motivated to learn your commands if you are rewarding them

You can ask your dog to look at you and let them know that they can get more food by responding to your commands. Put away your German shepherd feeding bowl. If your dog gets angry and stops eating, praise him and play with them if they do not answer.


Do not create any fear in your German shepherd

Please don’t yell at your dog. German shepherds are sensitive when you are losing patience, and your dog is not responding to your commands, stop the session on a happy note. Try another day, or after some hours, dogs can feel human frustration and sense anger, so be gentle.

Don’t spend more than 20 minutes per session

Don’t spend more than 10 minutes on a training session for a younger puppy. Short training sessions are more effective than long ones, and also multiple short training sessions are suitable for German shepherd puppies.
